Sourced from the wild

Salvaged timber and cast horn

We search the rugged South Island beaches for coastal totara and ocean-worn woods. Alongside these timbers, we gather naturally cast red deer antler dropped in the deep mountain bush.

These raw materials are stabilized, cut, and polished by hand. No two handles share the same grain, weight, or history.

The Forge

Honed by hand

Our blades are forged from high-carbon steel, heat-treated to hold an edge through rugged field use in the bush. We grind, temper, and finish each piece individually in our South Island workshop.

Our Promise

A tool built to survive the elements and outlive its maker.

We reject hasty shortcuts in favor of deliberate craftsmanship. Every hammer blow and hand-honed bevel ensures heirloom utility that honors the rugged New Zealand landscape.
