Across our whole range of knives there is a pattern of quality and uniqueness, the materials are sourced locally.

Knife handles

The wooden handles are made from kwila, rimu, grapper or whatever hard wood we can source suitable.  Knife handles can be just one product or a combination of deer antler, wood and/or leather strips.


Steel Blades

Re-purposed Chaff Cutter Blades (56 rockwell)

Re-purposed saw blades, Hardened if necessary.

Brass

Sourced locally in Christchurch.

Genuine Leather 

Sourced from Leather Supplier in Auckland – usually between 2ml-3.5ml thick

 Deer Antler

We source deer antler from a farm in North Canterbury, it’s a real privilege to get deer antler from Molesworth Station.
